Congratulations on surviving January — that is NOT the way I like to start a new year! February may or may not be much better, but at the very least, we’re one step closer to making it out of 2025, and sometimes that’s the best you can ask for.
For whatever it’s worth: you’re not in this alone. I think I can speak for everyone at Book Riot when I say that we are among those who refuse to give up the fight and will continue to speak out against injustice and in favor of acceptance as often as we can.
Anyway, comics! Yay! Among this month’s new releases are a touching story about finding healthy ways to cope with grief, the continuing adventures of one of comicdom’s premier Black superheroes, and the print releases of two ever-so-romantic webtoons. Whatever reading mood you’re in during this tiny month of February, you can find something to satisfy it here.
As usual, please remember to double-check the release dates in case they change at the last minute, cool? Cool. Now, let’s get on with what we do best here at Book Riot: showcasing titles that value diversity and let readers learn more about themselves and others through that magical combination of pictures and words that we call graphic novels.

Les Normaux Volume One by Janine Janssen with S. Al Sabado (Feb 11)On his first night in Paris, Sébastien goes to a club and ends up kissing — and running out on — a very cute vampire, Elia. The Order of the Circle by Levi Cory and Elisabeth Mkheidze, Eva De La Cruz, Maria Letzia Mirabella (Feb 18)Drawing inspiration from the real-life Great Smog of 1952, The Order of the Circle tells a dark supernatural tale of a woman who uses the smog as cover to get revenge against a magical organization that sent her innocent husband to hell on false charges. What will she — and all of London — find when the skies clear? |
Crumble by Meredith McClaren and Andrea Bell (Feb 25)Emily’s family always abides by one rule when they bake: bad feelings, unlike good feelings, must never get baked into the food.
