Ogun Amotekun arrests man over his girlfriend’s d3ath

Operatives of the Ogun State Security Network code-named Amotekun, have arrested one Ramoni Abiodun Segun, over the d3ath of his girlfriend in his room. The Deputy Corps Commander, Col. Tajudeen Bakare, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, said the incident happened at Odoraboyejo, in the Ojowo area of Ijebu Igbo. Bakare said that the deceased identified as Adijat d!ed in the suspect's room after passing a night. The late Adijat was said to have complained of severe stomach ache, became unconscious and later d!ed on Tuesday morning. He explained that Amotekun men arrested Segun upon receiving a distress call from an anonymous caller about the incident. On Monday, February 3rd, 2025, in the evening, the suspect, identified as Ramoni Abiodun Segun, brought his girlfriend, Adijat, to his residence, the statement read. "However, a distress call received this morning at 9:00 am from an anonymous source alerted that the woman was discovered unresponsive and subsequently d3ad in Seguns room.  In his statement, Segun claimed that Adijat had been experiencing stomach pain throughout the night, which he believed resulted in her unfortunate d3ath.  He noted that the suspect has been transferred to the Ijebu Igbo police division for further investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death.  The deputy commander, however, urged members of the public who have further information regarding the incident to come forward and assist. The post Ogun Amotekun arrests man over his girlfriends d3ath appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
