Many Nigerian mothers married to men are closeted l£sbians – Professor Uju Anya says

A Nigerian professor who is based abroad has claimed that many Nigerian women are closeted lsbians and their families likely know their partners.  Uju who got engaged to her lesbian partner early this year, said this on X while reacting to a tweet about "closeted Nigerian mothers". According to Uju Anya: "Many closeted Nigerian women know true love with another woman. That one Aunty Somebody your mama travels with, saves food for, is always talking to on the phone. The one who goes to the hospital with her and knows all her medicines. Thats the love of mamas life, not your papa." She added: "A Nigerian lsbian friend came out to her mom, and Mama said: 'But all of us do that! We just stop it after school and get married.' Basically, Nigerian mothers 'play around' with lesbianism when young, but the expectation is they 'grow out of it,' get serious, and marry men. "And many Nigerian mothers follow this script of 'playing around' with other girls in secondary school, university, around the neighborhood, village, church, mosque, etc. then eventually marrying men. However, in marriage to men, many Nigerian mothers do NOT stop being lsbians. "Many Nigerian mothers married to men are closeted lsbians who maintain very intimate, homoerotic friendships or full blown sxual relationships with other women IN PLAIN SIGHT. Their lovers visit their homes, share beds with them as the friend or 'cousin from the village' etc." See the rest of her post below. The post Many Nigerian mothers married to men are closeted lsbians Professor Uju Anya says appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
