Gunmen k!ll one, abduct four in Plateau community

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers k!lled a man and abducted four others in the Shendai community of the Namu District of the QuaPan local government area of Plateau State. It was gathered that the fully armed gunmen, numbering ten, stormed the community at about 9:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025, and kidnapped four people at gunpoint, while a man who tried to escape was shot dead.The Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Christopher Audu, who confirmed the incident on Monday, in a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Danaan Cletus, lamented the spate of kidnapping and other criminal activities in the local government area. "The Executive Chairman of Quaan-Pan Local Government Council, Hon.
