The Governing Council of the Federal University, Lokoja, has dismissed four lecturers over allegations of examination misconduct and sexual harassment. The council's decision came during its Second Council Meeting on Thursday, following an investigation that began last year after the accusations surfaced. The council, chaired by Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, commended the university's management for adhering to due process in its investigations. Ndoma-Egba emphasized that the council "will not tolerate any unethical conduct in the university" and urged university authorities to expedite pending misconduct cases, including a notable case in the Faculty of Science that has gained public attention. The council also issued a strong warning to staff and lecturers, stressing that any form of student molestation would not be ignored. It encouraged students to report any incidents of harassment, assuring them of the councils commitment to upholding integrity and safeguarding student welfare. The post
