UK-based Nigerian man has advised a fellow Japa returnees on their lavish spending habits during visits home, questioning the irony of later asking how locals survive in the economy.
He said when japa people go back home, they take Uber everywhere, they rent apartments, eat out and in restaurant. Some even hire driver and rent car, Put on generator immediately there is no light. Then ask “how do Nigerians back home cope.” Is that how you live in your UK?
They don’t live within our means when they go back home but in UK they manage, they live within their means.
How many times do you do Uber for UK? But we live within our means here like m@d. The same way people back home are living within their means is the same we’re doing here too.
