Bandits have abducted four farmers and stolen food items at Arikon village in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. A community leader in the area confirmed the incident to the Daily Trust on Wednesday, said the bandits invaded the community on Tuesday around 5:12pm. He said the bandits abducted two of the farmers at neighbouring Impi village before proceeding to Arikon where they abducted a man and a woman who were returning from the farm. He said the bandits broke into a store where some farm produce were kept and made away with a bag of local rice and yam tubers. The bandits, who came on motorcycles, broke into the store at Impi village, which is just some kilometres away from Arikon and stole a bag of rice and yam tubers, he said. The community leader said the incident happened shortly after soldiers, who were on patrol, left the two communities. The post
