Men of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, have arrested a 55-year-old ex-convict of rape, Ayodele Ijilakinro, for allegedly r3ping three ladies at different periods after his release from prison. The State Corps Commander, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye paraded Ijilakinro alongside 26 other alleged criminals apprehended across the states 18 local government areas within the past weeks. Ijilakinro completed a three-year jail term at Olokuta Correctional Centre for a similar offence and was released in February 2024. In an interview with journalists, the suspect said he had s3xual encounters with the women and admitted to r3ping three of them. He claimed that some of the encounters were consensual and that three out of six women who testified against him were not among those he forced. According to him, he met most of the ladies he r3ped while traveling between Akure and Idanre. I have r3ped three ladies. I gave some of them money, he said. Speaking on his past conviction, he explained that he was jailed in 2021 for sexually assaulting his neighbour.
